Fireside Chat is an SMPS Dallas special event series exclusive to firm leaders, executives, and senior staff.
Measuring the Strategic Plan (or, Eating the Elephant One Bite at a Time)
Strategic plans guide a company’s business decisions. Ideally, they also structure an agreed-upon evaluation process for firm operations, so as upticks or downticks occur, the company can modify its approach while staying focused on long-term goals. Leadership teams invest precious time and energy into carefully crafting these plans for their business — but who is ultimately in charge of the evaluation? And how are strategic plans measured?
Join us for an in-depth conversation with firm leaders, executives, and senior staff focused on how they “eat the elephants” that are their strategic plans. Discover how the “one bite at a time” approach applies, as attendees share the different ways that they implement, measure, and maintain their firm’s strategic plans. Discussion points include why AEC firms should have a strategic plan, what it should contain, how to measure your progress, and who is responsible for it. This collaborative event is best suited for those who are willing to actively participate in the discussion by sharing their own experiences, ideas, insights, and questions.
This conversation will be facilitated by Julie Huval, CPSM (Beck Technology)
Heavy appetizers will be served and an open bar is included with your registration. In order to facilitate a more intimate, conversational atmosphere, seating is limited to 30 invited attendees. Your early registration is strongly encouraged.
